The Duffy’s Foundation recently hosted several Special Olympics Florida athletes, coaches and volunteers as the foundation presented a donation to Special Olympics Florida for $25,000.

Duffy’s Sports Grill MVPs participated in an online fundraiser to raise the money.

The donation to Special Olympics Florida will go toward setting up Young Athlete programs in communities served by Duffy’s Sports Grill’s 32 restaurants.

“Because of the support of Duffy’s Sports Grill, Special Olympics Florida is able to provide quality sports training, competition and health services for people with intellectual disabilities — all at no cost to them or their families. We are grateful for the generosity of Duffy’s and their loyal customers and for their commitment to empower Special Olympics Florida athletes.”

Founded in February 2016, The Duffy’s Foundation has donated more than $100,000 to organizations and charitable causes in local communities served by Duffy’s Sports Grill.
